The Health Trainers are now part of the Family Wellbeing Platform within Public Health and are now known as Wellbeing Advisors
If you feel ready to make some long term changes to improve your health and wellbeing, then the Isle of Wight Wellbeing Service could be just what you need.
Wellbeing advisors offer you the opportunity to work with them for a number of weeks or months on issues relating to Weight Management. They can also offer support to those who would like to give up Smoking.
They will help you to set manageable health goals of your choice, and support you to achieve them. This could include supporting and encouraging you to be more active and to help you to make healthier food choices.
Wellbeing Advisors are part of the Isle of Wight Councils Public Health Department.
To access this service you must obtain a referral from either your Doctor or a local health professional.
This is a free and confidential Public Health funded service.
